1. Why is the waiting period to see a Doctor so long? Patients are seen according to the seriousness of their illness.
  2. Why does the lab take so long to process blood work? The Lab does blood works for the entire Hospital. The maximum waiting period is usually between 2-4 hours.
  3. Why does the Specialist take so long to arrive? Patients are placed on a list on a timely basis that they were referred and there may be a dire emergency that occurs and that patient may need to be seen immediately.
  4. My relative is ill, why is it not possible for all friends and families to visit the patients at once? Only (1) relative or friend is normally allowed to accompany the patient. This helps to reduce overcrowding, enables the staff to move unencumbered through the Unit, and maintains a safer environment for the patient. In the event where the patient condition has deteriorated, a room is provided for family members and friends.
