It was through the initiative of Mr. Russell Wilson-Spence and Miss Sydni Sykes, students of Hillel Academy, with the support of their teachers, and their partnership with the Kiwanis Club of Constant Spring that the University Hospital of the West Indies is the proud beneficiary of a bed and two wheelchairs for its Isolation Unit.  The official Handover Ceremony took place on Saturday, January 31, 2015.  The attendees included Mr. Russell Wilson-Spence, student of Hillel Academy; Miss Sydni Sykes, student of Hillel Academy; Mrs. Deborah Manning, President of the Kiwanis Club of Constant Spring; Mrs. Pam Rodney-White, Distinguished President of the Kiwanis Club of Constant Spring; Mr. Lloyd Distant Jr., Lieutenant Governor of Kiwanis Clubs of Division 23 East; and Dr. Cecil White, Chief Executive Officer of the UHWI.
