
Dr. White earned a Doctor of Education Degree (EdD), summa cum laude, with a concentration in Organizational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University. He obtained his Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from Barry University, and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Chemistry & Applied Physics from the University of the West Indies. Additionally, he is a certified project manager and holds the Project Management Professional (PMP) credential, and is a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (LSBB).
Prior to his appointment to the University Hospital, Dr. White held the position of Senior Vice President of Operations & Corporate Planning at the National Health Fund, and has worked with that organization since its inception in 2003.
Dr. White is a global volunteer for the Project Management Institute (PMI), and currently serves as a member of an Advisory Group. He is also a member of the American Society for Quality (ASQ), and has participated in the judging of the International Team Excellence Awards. He is also an adjunct faculty member at the Mona School of Business and Management.
Dr. White also serves as a Justice of the Peace and is a member of the Lay Magistrates Association.
